Italian artist, Nancy Satta, has a background in textiles. This has progressed to Nancy gaining a love for paint and going on to paint compositions of abstract art. Unlike the traditional abstract pieces, her work contains a form. They are all bold and powerful pieces of art which she gained inspiration for while travelling the East. Her work often contains Buddhist vibes, Japanese textiles and city sunrises in reference to her travels. Even though her travel experience is relevant throughout her work, her style of work remains traditional. Containing earthy colours – from rich browns to golds and vogue greys mixed with vibrant contemporary colours such as cerise pink, mint greens and tangerine orange, her work is filled with brushstrokes, textures and grains.
