Carl Underwood aims to connect with a wider audience throughout his work. Using his vivid sense of curiosity, easy-going personality and observation of his environments as his inspiration, his work often conveys messages about life and society.

Carl is inspired by Banksy and his graffiti works which often portray messages of politics and social society which is what his Banksy Dictionary range was inspired by. When he’s not using graffiti, Carl uses colour and lines in a variety of styles throughout his work.
